What is our marketing strategy?
What do you hope to see in your juniors?High spiritedEncouragingMotivatingHardworkingWhat is our marketing strategy? Not so sure

I hope to see something that i don't really see in the present CC — enthusiasm and self-motivation.We can umm show off some unique points of our CCA like using our videos that was taken to showcase Cross Country. We can also
1) I hope they are committed and punctual(which i am not) and come for training for all sessions. Most importantly, they have to be respectful to the coach and the teachers. They must also show teamwork.2) We can showcase videos and photos of us training and put up posters. We can also give them brochures to promote our CCA
What do you hope to see in your juniors? They are committed, they listen to instructions, they have a positive attitude and they are fun:DWhat is our marketing strategy?Tell them the good points of Cross Country: They can improve their timing, improve their stamina and become more fit so that they can beat whoever they want to beat during the 2.4. They can be recognized school-wide as good runners. We could create brochures and hand them out with such information inside it.
What is our marketing strategy?Use some of the advertising techniques we have learnt. We can demonstrate our training in front of them.Give them an introduction to our coaches.
-I hope to see the passion of sports and determination and the will to succeed in the CCA in our juniors. -Videos, animations, banners and advertisements (we can add the language features that we have learnt in English lessons). We can use some of our testimonies to hopefully attract some of the juniors to join our CCA. For the videos, we can video ourselves running and competing with one another.
I hope that the juniors are very enthusiastic about running and that they will be committed. We can show them a short video of what we do during cross country. Eg, the warm ups and drills. We can print out flyers that tell them what are the advantages of running. Eg, keep fit and lose weight.
1) I hope that they will be committed to be our CCA, and try their best. I want them to be able to motivate each other, so that we can excel as a team. I want to improve the overall CCA group, including ourselves, who will be the seniors.2) We can have a video showing for our juniors to see, if they are interested. We can also create posters to be put up on the walls, with pictures of us, satisfied after we are successful in something. (Like after we completed the North West Run)

Motivated to runDiscipline Knowing what to do at the right timeLet them see the benefits of joining our CCA.
What do you (I) see:I wish to see them have high stamina and good at running and have good commitment.Marketing Strategy:Tell them the advantages of running
I hope to see potential in our juniors, not that they can run well, or have the stamina, but they must be faithful to this CCA that they choose. I hope that they will learn and conduct this CCA wholeheartedly. At the end of the year, the juniors will be able to run better and have greater stamina. Our marketing strategy could use Bribery [Get free Cross Country Sweaters/ Jackets], Emotional appeal ["Want to amaze your friends and family?"], Testimonials, Faulty cause and effect.
Create little cards Videos on the fun time we have even though there is tough training?
What do i want to see in our juniors:1.responsible for their own actions2.must be inspirational3. must be hardworking4. must be fitwhat is our marketing strategy:1.bribery(plushies)2.mr Koh XD3.sports and "interesting" workouts(if you want to see how strong your bones are before they break)4.games?5. OUR COACH!
We hope to see our juniors are as enthusiastic as we are in running and that they are not afraid to try out something new.Cross Country is not a very popular sport among teenagers these days as most people find it boring. We can try to change people's mindset about the sport by addressing to them the benefits of cross country, such as in addition to building a strong body, we are also building a strong mind.We can also use our coach as a promotion as he was once a record holder in running and that if they join our CCA, they will be trained by the best of the best.We can also play some "Rocky" music or the song "Final Countdown" at our booth as they are very nice.We can also use videos of us sprinting or training so that people will be attracted to our booth.Lucas Chia
i like zhong wei one haha lol
because it's very cool to give them plushies!
mine and dionne's and davina's and jun hong's comment
I VOTE FOR DENISE IDEA ON THE TESTIMONY THING. This can showcase to our juniors on our experience in the CCA.Another idea is running around with posters hanging on our necks. This can promote running and our CCA. YAY LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I like Lucas's comment because serious cross country- minded people will want to see results and would also want to be trained by the best of the best. Furthermore, CERTAIN people would want to have a strong body and mind.
I like Denise's idea which are the videos & animations. We are School of Science & Technology. Therefore the video and animations are the technological aspects of our school. I like Davina's idea too. Her idea is the videos on the fun time we have even though there is tough training. We should tell the junior the advantages and disadvantages of our CCA before they decide to join, so that they will not regret it.
Hmm... Of course the juniors must be committed to the CCA. But most importantly is to have fun bonding together as a club. Our marketing strategy would be get them MOVING! Have fun at the same time (:
I want junior runners to be motivated and committed to the CCAMarketing methodsJake and Mr Ravin as a mascot.Bribery with shoesAdvertisementBannersBrochure
I like Shamus's idea. I think it would work as people like free stuff. And getting a cross country T-shirt/ Jacket would would play on their emotions and make them feel like a part of the team.
I like Zong Wei's comment. It is innovating in a way and impractical in another. The Secondary One's can experience what we did in our co-curriculum activities
Marketing StrategyWe can create a video, made by the whole cross country group, if possible. We can include pictures and some videos, using iMovie to combine them together. This can include pictures of the Exco, the team, the coaches and the teachers in charge. We can also show ourselves doing things like drills and the warm up stretches. I think that we can put some details, saying how cross country can help them at some part of the video. I like the idea of a video, as it can convey a lot of messages, and it is possible to do. This can be put up at the booth. We can also have posters put up around the school. This can show several written details, and pictures of the team.
I like Lucas's idea on having music for the booth because I think it will attract the sec 1 students. I also like Helene's idea on having posters to be pasted on the wall and showing our satisfaction when we did something well/complete a race (eg. Northwest run). Shamus' idea on the free jackets/sweaters are good too as I think it is cool.
I like Lucas' comment because his idea can attract a lot of people to join our cca
I totally concur to the testimonial thing.New members would have to sign on a form that they would be committed to the CCA. If they don't behave, we'll just show them what they promised! :D
I like 'Davina Ling the Second' ideas because it is very creative and it shows what we do in CCA
I like Lucas' comment as many people would more readily join our CCA if we say that Mr Pandian was once a top athlete.I also like Denise's idea on testimony, as it will they may be attracted and more readily join our CCA if we tell them of our personal experience.
Our recruitment plan :DOn iWork:http://public.iwork.com/document/?a=p1351251111&d=Cross_Country_CCA.keyDownload .pdf:http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6434358/Cross%20Country%20Recruitment%20Plan.pdf
I like the idea of a testimonial, pamphlets, posters and banners as they are cheap and will catch people's attention easily. The idea of getting Mr Ravin and Mr Pandian (sorry if I spelled their names wrongly) is good as both of them are fantastic trainers and Mr Pandian has a record that may be still standing.Lucas Chia
What do you hope to see in your juniors? They must first have the commitment and interest in this aspect, they must be focused and hardworking, abide by the rules of running, a spirit of not giving up even if they are weak in that aspect. What is our marketing strategy?Show them a video (The ones that Miss Lim taken) of how our training session would be like and maybe introduce them to our cross country blog so that they can see the achievements that we have made and maybe also see when and where is our training sessions (School, canal and Queenstown) introduce our coaches (Tell them about our coaches achievements e.g. having the national record for 20 years 400m) introduce our teachers (Miss Lim and Mr Koh) tell them the benefits of joining this CCA (Representing school in competitions, building physical and mental strength) We can also make brochures, flyers, podcasts etc.Sent emails to juniors etc.etc.-Christopher Nah
